Out of the Maelsrom

The writing of the TORN trilogy took a total of sixteen years; Book I, Torn From the Inside Out was written over a period of ten years, The Journey and the final instalment, Out of the Maelstrom, required another six years of my life. These three books are as intimate and personal a gift as anyone can rightfully give, for upon each page, my own thoughts flowed out of my deepest pain, and my joy from my greatest triumph.

The pages are the parchment upon which I wrote using the ‘ink’ of my life, the blood, sweat and tears that represent the long struggle of the ‘journey’, the life trip that began long ago with the hungry little girl who ‘sat in the sand’ (Torn From the Inside Out) and continued with The Journey, which told the story of the children of ‘Torn’ and now, my dear reader, we complete the journey of a lifetime with Out of the Maelstrom, the last leg of the long, enduring trek.
Out of the Maelstrom, is the last leg of Nile’s long journey covering almost a decade working for a non-profit domestic violence agency.

“I applied to work for this agency because I felt that I belonged there, It was where my heart was. I wanted to help people who had hurt like I hurt and felt trapped like I had. I wanted to empower those who felt they were powerless and give courage to the broken hearted. My comrades in this mission were all there with me, we all wanted the same things for similar reasons and we would share a rich and grand experience working together, an adventure that needed telling, a soulful potion that needs sharing…in the journey of this new life”

I am an Indie Author. Fresh on the scene. I published my first two books thanks to Amazon Kindle. And I have published using createspace and keep on publishing. Currently I am working on my follow up novel to my romance novella Love. A strange person I am trying to tell stories from the inside out where the reader can live the life rather than just read it.
