In short I have taken some time to write a flash fiction. In this short story I have worked through the final day of what a trial with George Lucas would be like. It is a simple attempt at least to show how even during this bad economy we can see the rich suing the rich in order to get more money. At most it is a fun little what if story that would end of course with the most likely of verdicts.
To Sue A Lucas brings the most extreme of circumstances to life. Of course the media circus that would follow such a trial if it were to take place would only be comparable to the Jackson trial or the Simpson Trial.
There would be many who would ask where such a ludicrous idea came from. For me it was a matter of subliminal messages. Being that I am a fan of Star Wars, I know some of the key images from the series. Everyday on my way to work I would spot a sign. The sign for the city of Suwa in Nagano Prefecture Japan. You can actually notice part of the city’s emblem on my cover. It is the blue part for those who have never seen the red mark of the Rebel Alliance. Well I got to thinking of what if I were to sue George Lucas, how far would I get. The first realisation was that I would not get very far. I have no money. I am broke. So zero cash = no lawyer which results in no lawsuit. Then I thought who would have the most to gain and could actually claim defacement or even brand misuse. A city would have that kind of money. A city could make it a case of honour.
