Jump, hop , skip to my loo
It’s almost time to shift into a new season. The mark of the new season is when daylight savings time occurs and we are expected to “spring forward”. We lose an hour of a sleep but we gain another hour of sunlight. But sleep isn’t the only thing we lose. We also get to shed the layers of the winter making room for soft pastel colors that reflect the spring.
What I am most thankful for is the change in people’s mood. With the harsh winter New York has had, sunlight and warmer weather is the best medicine. People just seem more pleasant, more inclined to want to hang out and enjoy the day. Happy hours are more happy, wine tours are scheduled rooftop parties will be the thing to do and weekend brunches are more delightful ending in unlimited bellinis and mimosas.
