My Creative Process: A Crimson Memory

Hello Citizens of the Blogosphere,

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may remember the old wooden cutting board I transformed into mixed media awesomeness a couple of years ago.  The piece was entitled Bibliophile and it incorporated my love of books with my love for creating art.

Today, I’d like to share a similar project that once again incorporates Mod Podge, book pages and acrylic paint.

A Crimson Memory

As days pass, our memories will aggregate and we will become unable to discern them as individual moments in time. These moments will be obscured, with minor details lost to new ones. This is a crimson memory, frozen in a specific moment in time when details were still crisp…like fresh cut flowers in the Spring.
