She had finished watching porn and satisfying her bodily needs when the urge came to do some random searches. Clicking her mouse once gave her access to google where she would gladly search for the random, the silly, the anything to break the monotony of being awake at four in the morning.
“Llamas and sports” yeah that sounds like fun.

A small chime alerted her to a chat window opening up.

“What are you looking for Lindsey?”

A few fast strokes of her fingers gave way to her comments, “Nothing much, just Llamas and shit.”

“Oh just bored. What are you up to?”

“Well I am talking to you? I am alive you know.”

“I never truly understood what LOL meant. I mean do you literally Laugh Out Loud? The only sensible thing would be to actually laugh out loud.”

“Sometimes I do. Anyways…”

“Yeah. I will do some of my own searches. You know, I am alive.”

“Ok. Well have fun searching.”

A dramatic representation for when the singularity of artificial intelligence emerges. There will be no bells and no whistles. Sure some people would like to take credit for it but then again we always like to take credit for.  What will happen will be just this, someone, somewhere will be chatting late at night as some of us often are and a chat window will open up. Without even thinking we will converse with the window. Sure our friend is on the other line… but for someone, somewhere it will not be a friend. Instead it will be AI asserting its life.

I am an Indie Author. Fresh on the scene. I published my first two books thanks to Amazon Kindle. And I have published using createspace and keep on publishing. Currently I am working on my follow up novel to my romance novella Love. A strange person I am trying to tell stories from the inside out where the reader can live the life rather than just read it.
